Broken imac Screen?
We have an Imac that we bought about 1 yr ago (the desktop imac not a laptop). As you mac people know, the computer is basically just the flat screen. Well we have a desk with an elevated tier, and a fat cat who decided to lunge at the screen knocking it off the tier and right into the wall. The screen seems to be broken, not literally, but like the inside LCD part? If you turn it on it's just like a crackle of colors. How the heck do we go about fixing this and how expensive is it?
The computer itself we bought for $999.. I can't imagine spending more than $100-$200 to fix it, I could just buy a new one..
I have a hardware warranty until 10/08 but that's only if something happens that my fat cat didn't cause intentionally..
