Im trying to make a DVD with windows DVD maker. It can hold 120 Min of Video and 12 of my files is equal?

Im trying to make a DVD with windows DVD maker. The DVD can hold 120 Min of Video and 12 of my files is equal to 45 minutes of video. As it encoding/burning the dvd it tells me there a error with the dvd. I make dvd before what can possibly be wrong??
